Send the open letter to the new Minister of Oceans &amp; Fisheries, David Parker, and support the creation of a strong ocean vision for Aotearoa.\r\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n                            \n\n                    \n                            <div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n                            <div class=\"wp-block-button\">\n                                <a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/act.greenpeace.org\/page\/70246\/action\/1\" target=\"\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\n                                    Sign the open letter!\n                                <\/a>\n                            <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                            \n                    <\/div>\n                    \n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to protect the ocean in three steps<\/h4>\n\n<p>Destructive fishing techniques like bottom trawling must be banned on seamounts, and cameras installed on the full commercial fishing fleet, to protect ocean wildlife like seabirds, dolphins and seals.<\/p>\n\n<p>We must also commit to protecting a third of the world\u2019s international waters, creating a network of ocean sanctuaries that\u2019ll boost fish populations and protect all the amazing species that find a home there.<\/p>\n\n<p>The oceans are our life-support system &#8211; feeding a billion people worldwide, stabilising the climate and providing every second breath we take.
