Why is Greenpeace calling me?<\/h2>\n\n

Here at Greenpeace Aotearoa, getting on the phone is one of the ways in which we engage with New Zealanders about vital environmental issues, our work and how we raise money for our campaigns to defend nature.<\/p>\n\n

We share the stories of the issues we work on, discuss how we are defending the natural world \u2013 and how by making a donation, you can make a difference in protecting this beautiful planet. <\/p>\n\n

You may be asked to set up a regular donation. While single gifts are also helpful, the ongoing act of a regular gift gives Greenpeace the financial security to commit to long-term campaigns to protect the planet. It also ensures Greenpeace can remain politically and financially independent. Greenpeace is entirely funded by individual supporters chipping in what they can – so we can always do what\u2019s right for the Earth first.<\/p>\n\n

If you do make the generous decision to become a regular donor, we may also give you a call from time to time to update you on campaigns and thank you for the positive impact you\u2019re having on the Earth. <\/p>\n\n
