Claiming Your Donation Tax Credits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

You will receive your Greenpeace Aotearoa Receipt in April you can claim back 1\/3 of your Greenpeace donations in your 2025-26 tax rebate.<\/p>\n\n

Are Greenpeace Aotearoa donations tax deductible?<\/h2>\n\n

Yes! You can claim tax credits on every donation over $5 to Greenpeace Aotearoa. Every year in April, we will send you a tax receipt, totalling your donations to Greenpeace over the previous tax year (up to 31 March). <\/p>\n\n

You can claim back one third of every donation you make that is over $5. For example, if you donate $100, you can claim back $33.33. <\/p>\n\n

Donating your rebate to Greenpeace directly is the fastest and most effective way to boost your positive impact for the Earth. You can <\/strong>donate your rebate here<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

If you\u2019d like a Greenpeace tax receipt for your donations at another point in the year, reach out to our supporter relations team on 0800 22 33 44<\/a> or info@greenpeace.org.nz<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

How do I claim my charity tax rebate?<\/h2>\n\n

You can claim your charity tax rebate online through myIR<\/a>. You\u2019ll need a myIR login or a RealMe login.<\/p>\n\n

You can also request your rebate via post by downloading the IR526 form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

You\u2019ll need to enter some details about the charitable organisation. For Greenpeace Aotearoa, our details are as follows:<\/p>\n\n

Organisation IRD Number:<\/strong> 031-139-481<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will also be on your annual receipt which we will send you in April.<\/p>\n\n
