Along with our allies, we occupied oil supply ships, we blockaded OMV\u2019s regional headquarters in Taranaki for three days, we climbed 20 stories up their Wellington building and we saw them off.<\/p>\n\n<p>Our theory of change was that we would create so much local and global resistance to new oil exploration that oil companies would fall over one after another as they weighed up the costs of exploration against the likelihood of getting their cash back in the face of this resistance.
