In New Zealand we strike this coming Friday, 27th September.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Four million. That\u2019s how many of you turned out last Friday to stand up for our planet and all the lifeforms who call it home.<\/p>\n

It was the biggest climate protest the world has ever seen. And it was truly global; from Jakarta to Johannesburg, Bogot\u00e1 to Berlin, Wolverhampton to Washington DC \u2013 it even reached\u00a0Antarctica<\/a>. One 15 year-old\u2019s simple act of courage last year launched a movement big enough to get the world\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

\"Global<\/p>\n

Thousands of students in the Czech Republic united with adults to joined the Global Climate Strike on September 20th. \u00a9 Petr Zewlakk Vrabec \/ Greenpeace<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We couldn\u2019t all take the day to strike at Greenpeace; someone has to stay behind their desks and share these stories with the world. It was one of the most inspiring days I\u2019ve ever spent at work. The passion and energy and creativity and humour on display had me in tears at one point.<\/p>\n

Here are some of our favourite signs from a day that will go down in history.\u00a0We can\u2019t wait for the next one on September 27th.<\/p>\n
