The Wind-Chime Project Comes Alive in Durban

At COP17 in Durban this month, Greenpeace launched it's larger-than-life wind chime, made of bamboo pieces that each held the name (or names) of South Africans who are calling for a renewable energy to be used more.

Every time the wind blew through the chimes, Durban's North Beach could hear the melodic sound of South African's calling for an energy revolution.

If you weren't at COP17 and would like to get your name on the wind-chime, you can go to www.usememore.co.za to sign up.

Although the wind is a powerful source of renewable energy, actually showing that power can be tricky at times. Luckily, hearing the wind is a different story altogether.
