Jozi stands for peaceful protest, and to free the Arctic 30

As the Arctic 30 face their 30th day of imprisonment in a Russian jail, nearly 10,000 people are taking to the streets at 85 events in 36 cities to call for their immediate release.

Greenpeace Africa went to the University of Johannesburg to ask passers by to help us create a banner of solidarity, reading 'We Stand For Peaceful Protest - Free The Arctic 30'. We overwhelmed and encouraged by the outpouring of support from UJ students and fellow Joburgers.

If you too stand for peaceful protest and putting the planet before profits, take action here.
