On the same day as the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its Fifth Assessment Report dealing with the science behind climate change (AR5), activists from Greenpeace Africa have staged a protest at the Department of Trade and Industry offices in Pretoria against a proposed third coal-fired power station in South Africa, which was announced by DTI Minister Rob Davies.
