Your competencies…

  • Thorough understanding of the political and economic environment, especially in EU/CEE
  • Leadership experience in campaigning, with international teams and organisations
  • Profound experience and valuable relations to media, politics and other decision-makers
  • Negotiable English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite
  • Willingness to travel
  • NGO/NPO background
  • Understanding matrix management, operation of virtual teams as well as being a team-player

Your tasks and responsibilities…

  • Work with the Programme Director CEE in developing strategies, planning and leading campaigns
  • Lead a team of regional experts and project leaders
  • Manage international projects; represent GP CEE in internal global bodies and towards relevant stakeholders
  • Build and manage a network in politics, authorities, and media in the region and beyond
  • Plan and monitor budgets
  • Collaborate with international/regional Greenpeace offices/colleagues and other NGOs/NPOs
