International ecological organisation Greenpeace is seeking expressions of interest from those interested in taking up the position of Voting Member in the Czech Greenpeace office. Voting members represent a mix of interests from within and external to Greenpeace as well as the broader international interests of the organisation. Your task will be electing the board, ensuring its accountability and providing a wider range of choice for the selection of Board members.

Seeking

We are looking for people with a range of interests and would love to hear from people who believe in Greenpeace values and with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Media
  • Human Resources or Organisational Management
  • Social sciences
  • Fundraising
  • Environment
  • Activism

Typical duties

  • Electing Board members
  • Supervising the performance of the Board
  • Approval of the annual report of the organisation
  • Representing a mix of interests both internal and external to Greenpeace

What to expect

  • An interesting and challenging volunteer position.
  • Two voting member meetings per year in Prague (Spring and Autumn)
  • The chance to play a pivotal role in a global ecological organisation.

Mezinárodní ekologická organizace Greenpeace hledá zájemce o pozici Voting Member Greenpeace Česká republika.

Členové Voting members představují různé vnější a vnitřní zájmy Greenpeace, stejně tak jako širší mezinárodní zájmy organizace. Vaším úkolem bude volení členů Správní rady, zajišťování její odpovědnosti a poskytování širšího rámce možností pro výběr členů Správní rady.

Hledáme

Hledáme lidi, kteří s Greenpeace sdílejí společné hodnoty a kteří mají zkušenosti v jedné či více z následujících oblastí:

  • Finance
  • Právo
  • Média
  • Lidské zdroje nebo Management
  • Společenské vědy
  • Fundraising
  • Životní prostředí
  • Aktivismus

Zodpovědnost

  • Volení členů Správní rady
  • Supervize výkonu Správní rady
  • Schvalování výroční zprávy organizace
  • Reprezentování různých vnitřních i vnějších zájmů Greenpeace
