Out of sight or within REACH?

Executive summary: Chemicals are out of control. Reforms to bring them under control within the EU are long overdue. Finally the European Commission is about to propose new legislation, called REACH , with the aim to provide the high level of protection for the environment and human health which is required under the EC Treaty.
