Executive summary: This report demonstrates the feasibility of replacing chlorine and PVC with cleaner alternatives and shows that this is actually happening at an increasing level, in a large number of different countries and businesses. It is divided in two sections. The first lists the many international agreements on the elimination and reduction of hazardous substances. The second section lists the companies that have taken varying degrees of action to phase out the use of PVC.
