Greenpeace campaigners Preethi Herman and Priya Pillai went to the Ministry of Finance, to deliver 92805 signatures on a petition asking Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and the GoM he heads to save the forests and those who depend on them.
Forests in Central and Eastern India are threatened by coal mining. A Group of Ministers headed by Finance Minister will decide the fate of our forests and those who depend on them.
