Greenpeace activists dived to a depth of 65 feet just off the coast of the Andaman and Nicobar islands to send a message to the Indian government during the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in Hyderabad in October. India has less than 2% of its marine areas protected and through this campaign Greenpeace seeks to convince the Indian government to protect the oceans and the communities whose livelihoods depend on the sea.
