India Pledges to Save Mahan on Rakshabandhan

On Rakshabandhan, over 1000 people from the villages of Mahan, including a large number of women and children tied rakhis to a mahua tree in the forests of Mahan on Aug 10. Over 8900 rakhis were sent to the people of Mahan from over 10 cities across India, out of which 1000 rakhis came from Dharnai village in Bihar.
