Two weeks in the forest and a petition to the Prime Minister

Greenpeace activist and CNN IBN citizen journalist Brikesh Singh has lived in the forest for two weeks and experienced the beauty and biodiversity here first hand. He tells us that the forests, wildlife and indigenous communities who depend on them will all be destroyed for electricity, if you and me don't do something. Almost 70 % of India's electricity is generated from coal and most of our coal is beneath the last remaining forests in Central India, so this makes our last remaining forests expendable in the government's eyes.

Greenpeace activist Brikesh Singh lived in a tree near the Tadoba-Andhari forest for one month and also became a CNN IBN Citizen Journalist during this time.
