Coal mining harms forests, pollutes water sources and impacts the health of the people living in the vicinity. To document this, Greenpeace put together a fact-finding team which visited Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh. The team spoke to the residents of Chillika Daad to find out more about the impacts of coal mining on their life. The results were put together in a report titled Singrauli: The Coal Curse.
