13th December, 2013 in Dharamjaigarh, Chhattisgarh : Sabitri Sheel who lives with her husband and son in village Baisi Colony in Dharamjaigarh, is standing in her damaged house caused by the sudden night time attack by the elephant herds about a month ago. According to her they have to live in panic as dozens of people have been killed by wild elephants in recent years in the region. They are thinking to migrate to another place like many other people. She also stated that only a compensation of Rs. 4,000/- has made by the government which is not enough to even repair a small part of the damage.
