Save the SUMATRAN
tiger’s home!

Greenpeace exists because our fragile
environment must be defended. And now
the Sumatran tiger needs your help.

Deforestation in Indonesia is pushing the
Sumatran Tiger to extinction. You can make
the investigation and documentation of
environmental destruction possible and
help create long-term and sustainable
solutions for the planet.

The last home of these amazing animals is
being destroyed for palm oil production.

Indonesia and its rainforest contains more than
10% OF THE WORLD’s KNOWN species.

But as their forest homes are cleared for agriculture and time is running out:

Pygmy elephants and orangutan populations
are dwindling at an alarming rate.

The Sumatran tiger is critically endangered.

With nowhere left to turn, the Javan and
Balinese tigers are already extinct.

Indonesia's forests are disappearing at a
rate of 140 Olympic swimming pools an hour
to clear land for palm oil cultivation.

Palm oil is found in nearly half of all products on supermarket shelves,
from shampoo, to chocolate and washing detergent.

Sustainable palm oil is possible.

Together we are calling for urgent action.
Your support pushes the world's biggest
brands to change their ways, demanding
an end to forest-destroying palm oil.

Palm oil is already being produced sustainably in Indonesia, using
methods that protect the forests and create social and economic
benefits to small communities.

Yes! I want to save the Sumatran tiger's home!
