'Air Bubbles In Old Ice' An iceberg made of densely formed ice, shows light transmitted through it. Suggesting it as older than the other ice formations surrounding it. These bubbles were made from air escaping as the ice compacted during freezing.

Scientists Keith Jackson and Steve Comeau drill holes in an ice floe to fix sea ice thickness measuring equipment. Greenpeace is in the Arctic, with a team of scientists researching the effects of climate change on fast depleting sea ice.
