'Air Bubbles In Old Ice' An iceberg made of densely formed ice, shows light transmitted through it. Suggesting it as older than the other ice formations surrounding it. These bubbles were made from air escaping as the ice compacted during freezing.

Climate Action with Ice Sculptures in China

In order to raise awareness of the possible consequences of climate change, Greenpeace China organised a display of melting ice sculptures in Beijing in August 2009. The water for the sculptures came from melting glaciers in the Himalayas.
