“WE NEED YOU. GREENPEACE IS BUT A WORD; THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT IS OUR STRENGTH”Alexandre Paul, one of the Arctic 30, illegally detained in Russia for peaceful protest
Hey creative people. Our heroes need your help. They've been locked up in a Russian jail cell for shining a light on oil drilling in the Arctic. They're peaceful people who face years in prison for standing up to the march of dirty industry and the menace of climate change.
Oil companies might have all the money in the world, but the one thing they lack is creativity. Unlike you they can't make funny videos, unexpected images and beautiful stuff to make the world realise that the Arctic 30 should be celebrated, not incarcerated.
So here's the deal. Further down the page are links to a bunch of cool content for you. Use your creative genius to help get our friends out of jail and into the history books.
Here are some hi-res images and logo vector graphics for you to use. We have some inspiring letters from the detainees, some beautiful messages back to them and great original content from the Greenpeace video and photo library. Should you need even more things, take a look at our libraries on Flickr, Youtube and Vimeo.
When you're done, please upload your stuff here:
We need to confront these oil companies and what they are doing to the Arctic and our activists.
Please remember this is NOT about Russia or its people.
