If we held a minute’s silence for every person who
Kofi Annan tells us has died from climate change so far, we would have over two hundred days of silence. This would take us beyond the last day of COP15 in Copenhagen. Let us show our respect in a different way – by NOT being silent! We cannot be silent until the world’s leaders finally get serious about climate change and do something meaningful about it. We owe at least that to those 300,000 involuntary climate martyrs.
