Thirty Greenpeace activists take a three metre high mobile phone to the Ministry of Agriculture (SAGARPA), in Mexico City. To send a message to the agency to not ignore the message of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food – Olivier de Schutter – who advised the Mexican authorities to restore the moratorium on transgenic maize sowing in our country. Activists held banners with the message ‘Mexico Ban GE Now!', held cell phones (representing the call from UN to SAGARPA asking to re-install the moratorium), played drums, and broadcasted a soundtrack of the message several times. 03/06/2012
