Underwater life in Looe Key, Florida

14 August 2010 - Florida. A flamingo tongue nudibranch (Cyphoma gibbosum) on the coral reef near Looe Key north of Key West. The beautiful reefs in the Florida Keys are still at risk from the BP Deepwater oil spill disaster. Several teams of independent scientists will join Greenpeace on board the Arctic Sunrise to conduct a series of scientific research programs over the next three months that will further understanding of the impacts of both oil and chemical dispersants on the Gulf ecosystem.
