Greenpeace activists stage a protest in front of the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, while a tour to advance a nuclear-free Middle-East is launched in Iran on the Rainbow Warrior, the Greenpeace flagship. Greenpeace is calling for urgent discussions about a Nuclear Free Middle East to create a region free of all nuclear technology, civil and military, as essential to increasing peace and stability in the region. Nuclear technology is not the solution to either national security or energy needs.
