Greenpeace launches "Save the Arctic Campaign" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during Rio+20, using a balloon in the shape of a polar bear with the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer in the background. The organization joins forces with Hollywood actors, rock stars, environmentalists, polar explorers and business leaders to launch a bid for a global sanctuary in the Arctic. The campaigners are demanding that oil drilling and unsustainable fishing be banned in Arctic waters. 06/21/2012
