Solar photovoltaic power is a very well-known renewable energy source - yet not widepsread enough. In countries like Kenya that receive a high amount of sunlight year-round, it is a very accessible source of energy. On this photo, Barack Obama's grandmother, Mama Sara Obama, poses with solar installation trainees in her village in Kenya. Greenpeace and Solar Gen offered to install solar panels on her roof and brought her power.
