Amazon Not for Sale activity

Community members living in the Forever Green Reserve, in Porto de Moz, Para state, Amazon, meet with Greenpeace activists to talk about the lack of government action sine the creation of that protected area in 2004. Eight years later, they haven't got their "Use of concession" contract, and there are still farmers and loggers operating there. The local and federal government’s reaction to the widespread illegality destroying the Amazon is slow and inadequate. Greenpeace is calling for a Zero Deforestation Law in Brazil.04/03/2012
