Russian Oil Spill Patrol in Komi Republic

10th August. An 'Oil Spill Patrol' team of Greenpeace volunteers clean up oil spill outside Usinsk in Russia's Komi Republic. An international group of Greenpeace experts and volunteers together with partner organization Save the Pechora Committee will patrol the region of Komi Republic (Russia) to find and map numerous oil spills, clean up an oil-contaminated area, and collect case studies and experiences from the local population, bearing witness to the huge scale of the problem.
