07 June 2011, Japan. Children walk along a road which had earlier been assessed by a Greenpeace team for radioactive contamination. The team found the road to contain high, unsafe levels of contamination. The city of Fukushima has been contaminated by radioactive fallout from the ongoing crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. Within the city, local authorities are now undertaking a clean up operation of soil from school and nursery school playgrounds.
