Greenpeace joins 300 Amazon rainforest communities in a floating general assembly on the Jaraucu River to demand an end to forest destruction in the Verde Para Sempre Extractive Reserve. Boats gathered at the Jaraucu River, which is the main channel for the transport of illegal timber out of the reserve, to testify about the lack of governance in the region.04/04/2012
