23 May - Egypt. Environmental activists, part of the Bozoor Balady ('Seeds Of My Country') campaign, unfurled a huge banner near the Ministry of Agriculture in Cairo. In Arabic is read 'Genetically Modified Crops Are a Crime Against the Farmer & Consumer'. Several members of the General Union of Farmers joined the activists, to send this strong message to the Egyptian government.
