Cheap stunt. Not impressed at all. Apple has been moving steadily forward on green energy and environmental responsibility. Name some other big corporations that actually publish and audit their supplier responsibility and environmental outcomes. Apple does. It's new cloud facilities will use at least 50% renewable energy. All of their new facilities, including their new headquarters are planned around a sizeable renewables component. It's in their documentation and the fact that over 215,000 people have signed onto this campaign is a measure of their disconnect, not Apple's.
Why don't you target a corporation that is not doing anything?
I suspect it's because Apple is so newsworthy that despite the fact they are moving in the right direction (without any prompting from you) you figures that you'd get more press inches by going for them.

You just chose Apple because they will give YOU publicity. They are already greener than other companies. You treat you enemies better than you treat your friends.

Apple has long been on the forefront of green technology -- not because it cares about your whining org, but because it cares about the earth and its own customers. Have some integrity and reclaim the reason Greenpeace was originally created.

Why don't you guys attack a company that's doing something illegal, rather than a company who has put green energy and using materials which are environment friendly in it's products.

I tell you why, because the actions you have done until now are pr related in a attempt to gain the public eye instead of actually doing something that does matter and that does help the awareness of helping our planet.

You have lost your way and I hope you will learn from this and do something about it.

Today Apple announced that their data facilities will be run by 100% renewable energy sources. Given that such plans take years, I would not want to read how your organization exerted the key pressure to make Apple do this. Focus on the Great Lakes basin and Ohio valley polluters rather than on companies that are actually trying to do something in this space. Thanks.
