Last week Kumi sat down for an interview with Zeinab Badawi on BBC's flagship programme HARDtalk.
Kumi Naidoo is the Executive Director at Greenpeace International.
Born in 1965 and hailing from South Africa, Kumi Naidoo was Greenpeace's International Executive Director from November 2009 until December 2015.
(Unregistered) GREEN Savior says:
What to day...it is not the high-profil-media campaigns keeping Greenpeace busy but to meet buisness leaders, religous facecommunities and tradunionleaders. DOCTOR Naidoo is having 1:1 meetings with various government, he could name any number of ads of state he just met this year. DOCTOR Naidoo is an important man, could any decent man or woman give this man a decent job at Kofie Annan's organisation? What was the name of Anna's organisation? Sun Wu PS: Marc Morano of the heartland institute is not even going to Doha anymore...they know they won the war before Greenpeace seemed to have noticed that there was a fossil-fuel-funded battle going on. PPS: please do not make me have to go to an internet-cafe for something like this again!

COMMENT NO. 10 I strongly recomment to paint Esperanza blue again. Would be nice to have her blue by the time she is under the Golden Gate bridge for our little symbolic series of pictures Whoever had the idea of painting all the Greenpeace-Ships green...hang him or her! Not only that we are the RAINBOW WARRIORS... Esperanza is NOT green. Her character SIMPLY is blue...poor old lady. Sun Wu Personally I would paint AS red before sending her to New Orleans...but this is not as important, not as much of a crime on astetics like Esperanza's raping.

Dear DOCTOR Naidoo, the ART of GREENPEACE once could be called the ART of reducing HIGHEST profile (and scientifically backed up) MEDIA-CAMPAIGNs to SINGLE images! Single images that even in times of technological stoneage (no Internet!) made its way across the world. Single images which could be understood worldwide no matter of educational cackground, culture, nationality... Single images that woke up because it transmitted an atmosphere...therefor a MESSAGE. How can you lead Greenpeace International for three years now and still say the work of Greenpeace is not high profil media campaigning but mainly to meet Politicans, Industry...? Do you understand the art of Greenpeace?
