We need a lot more. As a teacher and photographer, it is very sad what I see. Today we are confronted of a mass destruction of our beautiful planet. World destroyers of the so called planet should be judged as war criminals. Greenpeace and many scientists know more of what lies ahead of us. It is very gloomy and dark...!!!???..

The following rant has nothing to do with Greenpeace, neither have I. It just had to come out as I saw the clip.

People care more for themselves than for polar bears. Therefore it is logical to assume that their self-interest will conflict with their empathy for polar bears. Their empathy for polar bears is addressed beautifully in this clip, but their self-interest is ignored. The twist is that their interests are the same as the polar bear's. They just haven't thought it through and arrived at that conclusion. That's why certain business-suits stay in power and shovel conceptual value into their bank accounts while they promote that the demands of the market should govern the planet. The market demands are in turn governed by the wealthy of yesteryear because these have the corporations and marketing power to dominate media and culture, be it the soda or entertainment manufacturers. The consumers are driven to believe in freedom, but they don't seem to consider that freedom lies in the wealth of the environment necessary to sustain maximal freedom , rather than in the satisfaction they think they will finally achieve at the next purchase.

The masses seem to think that the climate is a necessary sacrifice to maintain financial growth. In reality, our climate IS our financial growth. The reason we're successful as a species is because the earth has been so rich for us to take. Now the balance is shifting. Slowly but steadily, the foundations we stand upon, the environment we adapted to, gets more and more pressured and poor. Our paper/digit economy will reflect that. If we let the real world slide. It will be slow to catch up, just as it today is slow to catch up to the fact that all sensible alarm bells have gone off, but when it catches up, we won't wake up rich.

The homeless polar bear or polar bears had a magnificent home: The Arctic. Yes. It's melting like PEAU DE CHAGRIN. 80 to 90% of the world is unconscious of what is happening to the Earth: Climate change, nature's resources diminishing, bird population vanishing and so forth. In the era of video games, video clips, festivals, having fun, having....no wonder we are indifferent. Many of us say who cares ? This beautiful planet gave us everything we need, we didn't give him back what he deserves. We are starting to pay for it and it will be worse. Since industrialization Man went to far, very far. I wonder what will I leave for my children. Nature is Beauty, the Earth is a gift from Someone to us. What did we do to respect Mother Earth ?
Today, greed, money, irresponsibility makes the world go round. I would like to be positive but what I see around me when I walk in the woods with my children make me shiver.

His kids will be as lost as the bear, when London goes under water. It might be smart to act before Bangladesh and Denmark go under water. But maybe the crash will come before that.
