Detailed assessment of the Copenhagen Accord in relation to the science-based demands put forward by Greenpeace in order to avoid catastrophic climate change.

Executive summary: This is an interim assessment of the copenhagen accord, a political agreement brokered by the US with a number of Annex I countries, and rejected by several governments including Tuvalu, Venezuela and Bolivia. The document concludes that the Copenhagen Accord is weak and unacceptable, but cautions as an interim document However, is potentially still open to improvement. It assesses a number of elements, including rules, deforestation, and emissions commitments.
