Executive summary: The Large & Associates Review is not a full assessment of the EPR nuclear safety case because, as the Review itself points out, the Olkiluoto design has yet to be finalised. Instead, this review analysed whether the claims about EPR’s safety are based on science or more on a wishful thinking, and whether the construction permit was given prematurely, without satisfactory proofs about the EPR meeting the Finnish safety criteria.
