A briefing on Individual Producer Responsibility.Individual or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is practiced when manufacturers take responsibility for the environmental and social impacts of their products throughout a product's entire lifecycle - production, use and disposal. Most EPR programmes focus on the end of life stage, or the take-back, of the product whereby the producer accepts the financial or physical responsibility for their products' waste management once the consumer discards them.
