In July 2006 an Australian consulting company, ITS-Global, published a report called “Whatever it Takes: Greenpeace's anti-forestry campaign in Papua New Guinea".The report was paid for by Rimbunan Hijau (RH), the largest foreign owned logging company in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Its contents include a number of criticisms of Greenpeace’s claims against RH and an attack on our motives and operations in PNG.Our response below shows that the ITS-Global report to discredit Greenpeace and its assertion that logging in PNG is legal, flies in the face of a mountain of evidence to the contrary.
