Where have all the tuna gone?

More than half the tuna eaten world wide still comes from the Pacific, yet scientists have been warning for years that bigeye and yellowfin tuna are suffering from over-fishing. In the last 50 years, 90% of all the big fish, such as tuna, sharks and swordfish, have gone for good. The recovery of our over-exploited oceans depends on protected areas, not just for the tuna, but for all marine life, such as endangered leatherback turtles, sharks as well as whales and other deep-sea life.
