Greenpeace activist Jacob Hartmann waves "no new oil" flag on board of SV Stahlratte. 31/05/1998: Greenpeace activists from the Greenpeace ship "Stahlratte" climbed on board the oil rig Ocean Alliance in the north-east Atlantic to stop the test drilling. The action was part of Greenpeace international campaign to stop climate change. Greenpeace demanded the oil companies to stop searching for new oil and instead invest in renewable energy sources. Ocean Alliance searched for new oil deposits in the Heland Hansen field, of which the Norwegian oil company Statoil owned 50 percent. The action was part of the "No New Oil" campaign.
