Solar Gen from Damrongraj School Held "Training the Trainer"

Greenpeace’s Solar Generation from Damrongraj Songkro school, Chiangrai province organized a group leadership training or “Training the Trainer” to encourage the members of the school’s Solar Generation group to be learn about their work and to be able to disseminate firsthand information about climate change and energy to the school’s students and people in neighbouring communities.

The activity was well cooperated from the school's alumni who attended the Solar Generation's leadership training. 40 Solar Generation students from Silpakorn and Thammasart universities attended the activity which included knowledge providing about climate change and energy efficiency using games and Q&As so that the youth could take part in brainstorming on environmental issues by linking them with the school's activities that are appropriate to teenagers, so that they could plan for their future works, and so that they learned how to work as a team. In addition, they gathered to form a human banner as a campaigning tool with the message, "Save Energy Now and Clean Energy Now" to urge the youth and staff in the school's Solar Generation team to work together and express their commitment in taking action to solve the climate crisis that is becoming more and more severe.
