Villagers are visibly upset and protest the sudden appearance of anti-riot police at a press conference being held by the local community to lodge complaints about the negative effects of a coal-fired power plant setting up here. The Greenpeace staff and community leaders from across Asia were here to take part in workshops to share experiences of living in the shadow of coal plants or coal mines. The foreign guests were part of the audience at a press conference being held by the local community against the negative effects of a coal-fired power plant setting up here. The visitors were detained for alleged visa violations.
