Fisherfolk Day march rally Espana to Malacanang

Fisherfolk, civil society groups and NGO representatives, dressed as colorful sea creatures, marched from from Espana Street to Mendiola on the eve of National Fisherfolk Day on May 30, 2014. The group sent Malacanang their proposed Roadmap to Recovery for Philippine Oceans to address the declining state of our national seas plagued by marine pollution, overfishing and climate change.
