Mothers show their activist side on World Environment Day

Mothers and children march to protest against the proposed commercialization of the genetically modified rice variety called golden rice by Syngenta in Quezon City. Greenpeace supports the creative demonstration of more than a hundred members of Green Moms, a nationwide coalition of mothers advocating for organic foods and breastfeeding practices, to protest their strong opposition to a genetically modified rice variety called Golden Rice (GR) on World Environment Day.
