The Bataan Nuclear Power Plant may finally open, but thankfully only as a tourist attraction. This photo was taken on June 11, 2011 (marking 3 months of the Fukushima disaster), when Greenpeace brought a mixed group of journalists, nature and outdoor enthusiasts, travel bloggers, tourism scholars, and adventure race organizers for an exploratory tour to see possibilities for an ecotourism package for the province that would include the mothballed plant.
