The recent 'Haze Wave' experienced in Singapore and Malaysia is a reminder as fires burn across Indonesia, that the destruction of Indonesia's forests is a regional and international problem. Solutions from governments and business must be found.
  • Half of the fire hotspots detected between June 11-18 that are choking Singapore and Malaysia with air pollution are in areas that should be protected by Indonesia’s forest moratorium, but there is still more that can be done.
  • Governments must protect forests.
  • Corporations must take responsibility for their entire supply chains; commit to zero deforestation and stop illegal practice such as fire clearing that is destroying our forests and clogging our air.
