Corn cobs unable to reach maturity stage due to intense heat and prolonged dry spell in Arakan, North Cotabato. Greenpeace is asking the government to provide a short and long term support to farmers affected by El Niño and to provide support to farmers transitioning from conventional to ecological farming system. The government should also implement programs or long-term solutions that will respond to the effects and impacts of climate change and will address food security concerns.
