Shoreline in Bangkok and the inner Gulf of Thailand have undergone extreme change from coastal subsidence and sea level rise. Greenpeace volunteers display a banner that reads "ASEAN for Climate action at Cancun" at landmark 28 which marks the boundary between Bangkok and Samutprakarn province on behalf of the A-FAB (ASEAN for Fair, Ambitious and Binding Global Deal Coalition of Oxfam, Greenpeace and World Wildlife Fund). A-FAB is urging ASEAN leaders to take real action to stop climate change at the United Nation's climate talks in Cancun, Mexico, which commence at the end of November. Southeast Asia is one of the regions most vulnerable and least prepared to cope with the impacts of climate change.
