Nakhon Si Thammarat,Thailand, 24 February 2011 — Students together with Greenpeace volunteers join thousands of people from Nakhon Si Thammarat as they rally to protect their province from coal plants slated to be built by
the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). Local communities announced their call to action for EGAT to immediately withdraw its coal project due to projected serious economic, social and environmental impacts.
